About the Facelift Procedure

A facelift, or "rhytidectomy," is a procedure in which Dr. Dubrow will remove excess fatty deposits (sometimes with the aid of liposuction.) He will then smooth and tighten the loose skin of your face and neck in order to help you achieve a more youthful appearance.

Any one, or a combination, of the following problems may indicate that you are a good candidate for this procedure:

• Jowls, or loss of a well-defined jaw line

• Loose skin, wrinkles, vertical "cords," or excess fatty tissue in the neck

A Newport Beach facelift procedure can improve any of the problems listed above; however, it cannot correct conditions such as sagging eyebrows, excess skin and fatty deposits in the eyelids, or wrinkles around the mouth.
